Another week, another J-pop review. I hope your week was alright everyone. Perhaps, something will catch your fancy?Continue reading “14.01 Weekly J-pop “review” but it’s been a long week”
Hey everyone. I’m here again to bring you guys another weekly review…as if anyone reads these, but it’s more for me anyway. I like trying to find new J-pop/rock songs to listen to so I decided to do this. Plus, I do this on my K-pop blog so might as well do it here, too.
Anyways, as the title suggest, there is some songs from the anime, Gintama, which I love. Sorry, the bias is real here.Continue reading “01.07 Weekly “J-pop” review but I’m a Gintama Simp”
“ Hinode Sunrise is when the sun rises over the horizon and warms my soul.”-Sasaki Miyo (Muge or Taro, the cat)
WARNING: This review will contain spoilers for ‘A Whisker Away.’ If you’ve already seen the movie or don’t care, then by all means, read on!
A Whisker Away tells the story of a lovestruck young teen by the name of Miyo Sasaki though she is better known as Muge. She adores a boy in her class named Kento Hinode who acts rather cool and indifferent to her advances. In order to get closer to her love interest, Muge dons a cat mask to transform into an adorable white kitten named Taro, who becomes well acquainted with Hinode. Just how long can Muge keep up this double act while balancing issues at home and the possibility of turning into a cat forever?Continue reading “Movie Thoughts: A Whisker Away (泣きたい私は猫をかぶる）”

The other night, I rewatched the debut film of Studio Ponoc called Mary and the Witch’s Flower. It came out back in 2017, but I hadn’t watched since then and felt the sudden urge to watch it again this week.
Disclaimer: Of course, I’m not a professional reviewer. I only have two semesters of screenwriting under my belt and with that knowledge, I shall commence my review.
P.S. Spoilers for this movie, of course.Continue reading “Movie Thoughts: Mary and the Witch’s Flower”
Hi all, I’m actually back with another review post. Since I’m still getting into the swing of things with reviewing songs weekly along with getting my footing with this blog, I’m not sure exactly how things will advance from here.
However, please enjoy this week’s selection. Mr.theDX3, came through and dropped his playlist yesterday so expect my review posts to come out sometime after Tuesday (like Thursday or Friday at the latest).
Now, onwards~Continue reading “17-12-20 Weekly J-pop “Review” but I know nothing about music”
Hello everyone! Or no one. At this point, not many know about this blog compared to my K-pop blog, so I’m effectively talking to myself for now. Yes, I also write about K-pop – tremendously like an idiot, but I try. If you’re interested in K-pop, I’d recommend checking out the site ~here~ If you’re from my K-pop blog, welcome! I hope I will be able to deliver the J-poppy content you deserve!Continue reading “13-12-2020 Weekly J-pop Review”

I swear to do better in the future if I continue to do drama reviews but I’m still not too well-versed in the field so bare with me.Continue reading “Drama Corner: Watashitachi wa douka shiteiru”
